Villa Romana

“In 2008, after 36 years of absence, I found myself in Florence again as a resident at Villa Romana. Part of this creative stay was preparing for an exhibition. Organizing the exhibition in Florence was not easy for me. Finally I decided that it had to be an exhibition about my impressions of art, Florence and Albania. I wanted to focus on situations flowing directly from the energy of the city and what makes it special: landscapes and architectural objects. I named the exhibition Senza Angeli (Without Angels).” (Edi Hila)
