Threat
This chronicle of everyday Tirana during the period of transformation is marked by the tension caused by events and interpersonal relations making the city a dangerous and even life-threatening zone. In many instances this tension pushed residents to leave the city or even the country. With the passage of time, the development of infrastructure and the construction of lasting organizational structures, various urban paradoxes are disappearing. But abuses of the freedom gained after the fall of the dictatorship also have negative consequences for social and political life.
